Sam is passionate about lighting, and looking forward to expanding her craft.
Emily Hope has come onboard with the Cleveland office. A Design and Technology student at Wright State University, Emily has experience working with main stage productions, summer stock and IATSE calls. She is excited to develop her understanding of the business side of entertainment lighting.
The VLS Internship Program – successfully launched in 1987 for many years and re-launched in 2018 – is designed to help build the network, skills and professional development of aspiring professionals in the lighting and rigging industry. The program is a three-way partnership between the intern, our company, and the educational institution that is sponsoring the intern. VLS is creating an environment for the intern, where they can gain knowledge and experience in all different facets of the lighting and rigging business, including project management, product and outside sales, rental and production sales and field work, shop operations, systems design, service, and finance.
