Pennsylvania Production & Rental Team
From a young age growing up in Pittsburgh, Noland followed his passion for music and played guitar in a few touring bands. After some time, however, he knew it could never provide a stable career. The focus of his college education became professional lighting.
In his last two years of higher education, Noland was picked up by a few bands to tour as their lighting director. Juggling both a full time job on the road and online classes, he graduated in 2010 from La Roche College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Film, Video, and Media with a concentration in theatrical lighting design.
Upon graduation and finishing his tours, Noland moved on to Opus One Productions/Mr. Smalls Theatre as their production manager and head lighting designer/tech. Throughout those years, Noland would choose Vincent Lighting to purchase tape, lamps and other expendables. Recently, while on the VLS website, Noland noticed the production manager opening and thought that it was too good of an opportunity to pass up. He interviewed, and in 2012, Noland joined Vincent Lighting Systems as production manager.

A native of Pittsburgh, Fran got her start in technical theatre in high school, where she was Stage Manager as part of the high school stage crew at Keystone Oaks High School. She went on to earn an Associate’s Degree of Science in Technical Theatre at the Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC).
Fran first worked for VLS as an over-hire technician for First Night Pittsburgh in 2012. In 2014, she quit her unfulfilling job in retail management and took up freelancing; shortly thereafter, she started working part-time in our Pittsburgh rental shop. In September 2014, Fran was hired full-time as Rental Administrator. She became a certified Vari-Lite technician in March 2015.
Fran still finds stage managing live productions to be the most fulfilling aspect of working behind the scenes: she likes solving the challenges that always arise during a show with a live audience.
